Every one of our designers, technicians and engineers is an expert in their own right and brings a combination of hands on experience and expertise to bear on each job. We never rest on our laurels, however, so we make sure that our employees access on-going training to ensure that they are always working with the best and latest techniques, ideas and approaches to design and manufacture.
In addition to taking on the best people we make sure that they have the tools they need to get the job done. Our facility is equipped with cutting edge technology such as Cad Cam software and 5 axis CNC machinery, which enables us to deliver exactly what each client needs, whether they come to us with a defined plan or an existing item which needs to be replaced. Our Sage Inventory Control system means that every project moves seamlessly from initial brief through to final delivery, while the fact that we provide every part of the process in-house means that we can guarantee quality control from start to finish. Finally, we work with extremely well-established supply lines in order to source the best quality when it comes to the materials we use, from polyurethane and rubber through to stainless steel.
The quality control, engineering excellence and customer service which we bring to the design and manufacture of conveyor rollers is also present when we work on agricultural rollers. We understand the agricultural sector and realise exactly what our clients are looking for when they come to AED to have their rollers designed and manufactured. Rollers of this kind are utilised on a range of different agricultural equipment for tasks such as breaking up lumps in the soil, compacting the ground and eliminating air spaces, and have to be robust enough to cope with the heavy duty nature of the task and, in particular, with the vagaries of the weather.
When we manufacture an agricultural roller we make sure that the axle and bearings are sealed against the weather in order to prevent water ingress and damage, and the bearings in particular are sealed for the working life of each agricultural roller. Clients can bring a specific set of requirements to us and we’ll design the solution they need or – as is often the case – an existing roller which we can reverse engineer to manufacture a highly effective replacement.
